The weather's so good, we'll play three!
The X and Mets wasted no time dipping into their allotment of extra games for the season, eagerly jumping into game 3 for the evening. As they had been all night, the X's bats were once again the story. Madman led the charge with a pair of three run bombs and six ribbies. Christian had a homer of his own, but once again, J-Ski came though with another 5-hit game, and this time he couldn't even see straight (thanks to an overdose of the Tribe's firewater). Sporting a set of "X" pasties to cover his legendary nipples, J-Ski's solo homer capped a 4-run first against rookie hurler B-Dubz (0-1), who was hit around pretty good. Christian (1-0) made his '07 debut for the X, and while he struggled with his control at times (6 walks), he was able to get himself out of several jams. Mets highlight of the evening was a rainmaking bomb of a HR by Yo to deep right-center that got everyone's attention.
