World Series - Game 4
Braves 1, Reds 0 - (10 innings)
Lighting malfunction forces game to Hopkins; Edgar launches GW HR!
Edgar launched a 10th inning line-drive solo HR over the short porch in left to give the Braves a 1-0 win that evened the series at 2 games apiece, in a game that began in Eagan and was finished in Hopkins. The lights at Pilot Knob Park in Eagan would not turn on, forcing Game 4 to be suspended a night earlier after three innings and a scoreless tie. The game was picked up the next night at Central Park in Hopkins with the Reds remaining the home club as scheduled. Despite getting 8 hits off Chops, the Reds couldn't manage to get anyone around to score, and played the Hopkins part of their game without the services of Spoon. Chops got the win, pitching brilliantly, allowing no walks and fanning 11. Zack was the tough luck loser, going 10 strong innings, scattering 4 hits, striking out 13, and walking just three.
