FINAL

Game 2
Brewers 8, Royals 3
Steady stream of offense lifts Brewers
The hits just kept on coming for the Brewers, as they tallied 11 base knocks in a relatively easy 8-3 win to take a doubleheader split with the Royals. Each member of the Brewers went yard off the Royals' Mike Patterson (1-2).  Jim West had a four hit game, with a HR and 2 RBI, and Paul Henderson had a monster game with his fifth HR of the year, driving in three with his five hits.  Brewers' pitcher Joe Lawrence (3-0) held the Royals in check. After allowing back-to-back HR's to Truck and Mikey to lead off the bottom of the first, Joe settled down nicely, scattering just four hits the rest of the way, striking out 3 and walking 3.
