Brewers 6, Expos 1
Hendi picks up first 'W'
The Brewers picked up their first win of the night, taking advantage of a porous Expos defense and piling up 11 hits to get a 6-1 win. Paul Henderson (1-2) picked up his first win on the mound, going 5 strong innings before Jim West picked up the save, his second. Joe Lawrence had a 5 hit game for the Brew Crew, as Hendi pitched well, whiffing 5 and only walking a pair. The Expos got their lone run on a solo homer by Mitch Goecke in the last of the 5th inning when the Brews were already up 6-0. Mitch (0-2) also took the loss on the hill, surrendering the 11 hits while fanning five and walking two.
