FINAL

Game 1
After unveiling their new Crosscutters jerseys, the Padillies (heretofore known as the Padilliecutters) proceeded to outpace the Blue Jays, taking Game one 4-3. Starting pitcher Nine used an effective mix of sliders and fastballs to keep the Jays off balance, tallying 10 strikeouts and helping his own cause with a 3 run homerun to right center at the plate.

For the Jays, Shandy had a similar approach on the bump, working a mix of fastballs, sliders, and changeups while allowing 6 hits and striking out 11 over his 6 innings. Vlade contributed a 2 run single to the left center field gap in 4th inning.

GAME NOTES: JC's HRL record 35 game game hitting streak came to an end as he was 0-5. Featured beverages: for the Padillies, Guinness and Newcastle; for the Blue Jays, Jameson and Hamm's
