Often wrong in his weather predictions, Flow eased Yo's early afternoon concerns of rain on the message board only to find out later that Hopkins Central was to be the epicenter of torrentiall rain and lighting strikes. In the later innings of the first game of the re-scheduled double header with the Mets leading 2-0 the rain did indeed come down. Both teams battled on however and as the Met batters came to the plate in the top of the 6th...each with wifflebat in one hand and Trucks daughters smiley face umbrella in the other, the Angels were able to hold the Mets to only a single. Into the bottom of the 6th inning with water rising to dangerous levels around Caz as he was on the mound and Tin Man on first, JVT belted a 2 run home run to tie the game. The next batter up Flow fouls off two wicked rain filled wiffleballs from Caz and on the third pitch he crushed a deep game winning bomb just past the dead zone around home plate....as Flow beat the play at first and rounded the bases avoiding attempted pick off throws from the Met outfielders, the Angels were rewarded with thier first "walk off" home run of the season.
