Expos 4, Braves 3
The X wins 4th straight after 0-8 start
The Expos are starting to get used to this winning thing, and did it again in the first of two with a 4-3 win over the Braves. A 4-run 4th inning did all the damage for the X. With two outs, a Christian single scored one, followed by a 2-run blast by MVP candidate Jamie Nowaczewski, then a solo shot by Pat Reckinger for all the runs that Rocket (4-3) would allow. Rocket fanned 8 and didn't walk anyone as the tough-luck loser. Meanwhile, Christian (2-0) won his second game in two starts, despite allowing eight hits. Chops had a perfect 4-for-4 game for the Braves, while Tom Polseno returned from injury with a pair of hits, including a homer.
