Over a year's worth of frustration for the A's was finally let out while facing the Angels in game 2, as the A's hit seven home runs in the final two innings and 11 overall after nearly blowing a six run lead in the 4th. Toonces managed to snipe the win from New Guy with three solid innings in relief, and also finally got his first two hits of the season with a solo HR in the 5th (first of four consecutive HR), and a grand slam in the sixth. Mike Lenertz was the hitting star for the A's, going 6-7 with 6 runs and 5 runs batted in. Flow knocked in 6 for the Angels, including a grand slam.
