Joe off pitching schnide with win
It was the Joe Lawrence show in this one as his effective pitching, coupled with his own pair of two run homers counted for all the scoring as the Brewers topped the Expos, 4-1. Joe (8-3) pitched a three-hitter, the only damage being a solo homer to Christian in the second inning. Joe struck out seven and walked only one, as Westy came in and picked up the save (6). Christian (3-1) took his first HRL loss, but pitched well, allowing four hits, three K's and walking a pair. Joe's 2-run homers came in the 1st and 5th innings.
