Cota = Braves' Bitch
Rocket's base clearing triple and Chops' two-run homer highlighted what was essentially a bitch slapping of Luis Cota as the Braves throttled the Yanks, 7-1. Cota (7-4) was clearly not on his game, allowing five hits, walking one, and the defense made three errors behind him. Chops had a good game at the dish with a homer and 4 RBI total, while Rocket had a pair of hits, one of them a two-out bases loaded triple that capped a 5-run second inning for the Braves. Rocket (6-3) was dynamite on the hill, allowing just three hits and whiffing 11 with just one walk. Willie struck out a whopping 9 times in this one. Cota's solo HR in the last of the 2nd was all the offense the Yanks could muster.
