FINAL

Game 1
Twins 6, Royals 2
Twins hand Royals sixth straight loss
Edgar (5-5) was on top of his game as he pitched the Twins to victory in their first of two wins of the night. The Royals would be held scoreless through five innings and the only trouble Edgar ran into was in the bottom of the sixth when he gave up three straight hits before recording the first out. In all he would give up two runs, but it wouldn't be enough for the Royals as the Twins racked up six runs on eight hits including a homer by K-Mart in the second inning. Mike (2-6) took the loss and has struggled as the Royals replacement in the rotation for The Rick who was once again absent from the Royals lineup and remains a question mark for the rest of the year.
