Braves 7, Royals 4 (5 inn, darkness)
Braves complete sweep for thirteenth straight win
Rocket led the game off with a solo shot and went on to hit two more homers to lead the Braves in their sweep of the Royals. Sanchez (10-4) picked up his tenth win of the season as he gave up four runs on four hits and a walk. The Royals never gave up, but couldn't top the run output of the Braves. Mike P and Truck split the pitching duties in this one as Truck came into the game in the fourth inning in an attempt to shut down the Braves bats. The move would backfire as the Braves went on to score three more runs off in the form of solo homers by Rocket and Tom and a sac-fly by Chops. Mike P (2-8) picked up the loss giving up four runs in three innings off of three hits, all of which were home runs.
