Truck pummeled by potent bats
It was an omen of things to come when the Twins led off the ballgame with three straight hits off Truck. In the end, the Twins bats were too much, and Truck was not sharp on the hill at all as the Twins rolled to a 5-1 win. The Twinks piled up ten hits in all and spread them evenly, as all four members had at least 2 hits each. Edgar (1-0) silenced the Royals bats, scattering three hits and fanning 11 with just one walk. Truck (0-1) just did not have it, getting pounded for ten hits, striking out 7 with no walks. Edgar and Truck each hit solo homers for their respective clubs.
