FINAL

Game 1
sm_braves04sm_dodgers04Braves 8, Dodgers 3
Rocket rebounds to get first win
Sean "Rocket" Pabon rebounded from a rocky start last week by striking out the first three batters he faced and holding the Dodgers scoreless through four innings.. Rocket (1-1) got the win for the Braves and only gave up three runs, all of which came in the top of the fifth when he started out the inning by walking Mike Bliss. After getting Ryan "Dutch" Van Haaften to pop out, Rocket gave up back to back singles to Dave "Silver" Silverstein and Brian "Dr. K." Klein as the Dodgers finally found their way onto the scoreboard. The Dodgers final run came off of a two-out single by Dutch before Rocket was able to end the inning. Even with those runs the Braves still held a 5-3 lead and would go on to tack on three more runs in the bottom of the fifth. One from a Nick "Sanchez" Consoer ground-out where Matt "Chops" Travaille was able to score from second, and the next two came from Braves newcomer Keith Pabon as he hit his first home run of the season.  Silver (0-1) took the loss for the Dodgers, giving up eight runs off of eleven hits and two walks, while striking out none in five innings.
