FINAL

Game 1
Red Sox 4, Rangers 3
The winds were howling big time in tonight's contests, blowing mostly in from right field and a little out to left. Coming off of an opening day perfect game against the White Sox, Tugboat got the start for the Sox in game one looking to do more of the same. However, it didn't go exactly as planned as he had a hard time adjusting to the heavy winds and ended up walking the first 5 batters of the game. He settled down after that, giving up just 1 hit while walking 7 and striking out 12. Hobbs got the start for the Rangers and also pitched well. He kept the Sox to just 5 hits and 2 walks in a complete game, but unfortunately for the Rangers 3 of those hits were hr's. Dr. Jesus led the way hitting 2 hr's, the first a blast that started down the 1st base foul line before the heavy winds blew it all the way to left-center field, still easily clearing the fence. The 2nd was the biggest one, a solo liner over the right field short porch in the top of the 6th to give the Sox the lead. Lil' Randall added a solo shot of his own in the 3rd inning.
