Joe solid in second start
Kevin "Yo" Adrian (1-1) took the hill for the Mets in the opener, and ran into a bit of trouble in the 1st. A couple of walks put runners in scoring position early and Joe Lawrence was able to come through with a one-out RBI to put the Crew on top. Yo cruised the rest of the way, but that single run would eventually hold up. Joe (1-1) pitched well for the Booze Boys, escaping a bases loaded jam in the 1st, striking out 14, and going on to retire the last 10 batters he faced to spoil the Mets' return trip back to the Valley.
