Norris Division rivals the Mets and the Cards took to the fields on Monday. And then the rains came. A solid downpour didn’t stop the teams from playing, just got everything and everyone real wet. Yo took the mound for the Mets and had his knuckleball working.
HR’s from Yo and Caz put the Mets up and while the Cards loaded the bases twice (once with no one out and once with one out), they could not break thru. Solo shot by Hollywood for the Cards was too little too late. Final score 5 – 2 Mets.
