The Tegroes had many futile attemps at Steve 2's lob pitch including a third stike vs. Tubby which landed on the top of the zone.  Mixing in his nasty slider, Steve 2 struck out 12 as he went the distance in a losing cause.  Tubby, Doc and Nelly went deep for the Tegroes, and Rondell fought through some control issues to win his 4th of the season.  Seibs' homerless streak extended to 41 atbats, and he had to shotgun a Blue Diamond Lager after the game for providing empty promises.  He also earned the new nickname of Tyner.

Steve 2 went 3 for 4 reaching base in 5 of 6 plate appearances.  Dee reached base 6 times over the two games.
