The Rays were the first to score against Web Gem in the 2nd inning, scoring two. They added another in the 3rd and it looked like that was all it was going to take. The Rangers fought back with a few timely hits before a 3 run HR by Nutshot tied it up at 3-3. Stayed that way until extra innings and with 1 out and 2 on in the bottom of the 7th, Taco took Web Gem deep to right to walk off game 1. A heartbreaker for the Rangers for sure.
