Was a glorious night to open up the season and debut the new unis. Sadly we weren’t able to DEEbut our new players, Classless and Dee who were both help up with work entanglements.

In game 1, both Epstein and Professor were dealing. It was an odd night on field 1 at the Knob, usually known as the launching pad because the wind regularly is blowing out toward left field… on this night it was blowing out toward right. In the bottom of the 4th, a scoreless tie was broken when Epstein hit what at first looked like a routine fly ball to center, only to see the wind carry it just over the right-center field wall a couple feet over from where the chain link ends, to put the Dodgers up 2-rip. A bevy of classic Bears DEEfensive wiffle happened after that, and Prof got out of the inning down 4-0. Bears had plenty of chances to score but couldn’t make it happen, Dodgers win game 1 4-0.
