The 4th of July is upon us, All Star/Fun Star voting has commenced, and believe it or not, play-off wiffleball is on the horizon. Three division winners from Eagan and two division and one Wild Card from Hopkins will automatically advance to the play-offs, while the remaining 16 teams battle it out in Wifflepalooza for the remaining two playoff spots.
If the season ended today, the following teams would clinch automatic playoff spots:
Eagan:
1. Dodgers (21-3, Lone Oak Division Leader)
2. Yankees (18-6, Yankee Tavern Division Leader)
3. Reds (17-6, Wildcats Division Leader)
Hopkins:
1. Biscuits (17-2, Bunny’s Division Leader)
2. Mets (20-3, LTD Division Leader)
3. Americans (19-3, Wild Card Leader)
And here is how the seeds for Wiffleplaooza would look if the season ended today:
1. Braves (15-5)
2. RubberDucks (17-8)
3. Marlins (12-8)
4. Kardinals (12-10)
5. Pirates (12-11)
6. A’s (13-14)
7. RoughRiders (8-16)
8. Giants (7-14)
9. Twins (6-14)
10. Chihuahuas (6-14)
11. Whalers (7-17)
12. Mariners (7-17)
13. Iron Pigs (4-17)
14. Bears (4-18)
