HRL 2020-21 Free Agency Tracker

Well, it’s that time of year again, as the league annually re-shapes itself into what will eventually be the 2021 season (our 18th)! Starting on December 11th, teams, current players, and potential new teams and players can make their moves in our Free Agency Period. Announcements can be made by teams or by individual players. Announcements can be emailed to Huck Finn OR can be announced on the message board yourself. We will try to keep this page updated as much as possible.

TEAMS:

If a team plans to return or disband
If a team is releasing a player or players into free agency
If a team is looking to add any # of players via free agency
If a team has signed a player or players via free agency
If a team is changing team captains
If a team is wanting to move to the opposite city
If a team is changing their team name
If a potential new team is looking to join the league

PLAYERS:

If a player is looking to become a free agent
If a new player is looking to join the league as a free agent
If a free agent has signed with a team

	Americans: Team will be managed by Knooty Booty. Coach, Squirrel, The Natural and Super Dave are leaving for the Mariners.
	Biscuits: Disbanded. Adios.
	Blue sOx: New team in Hopkins under the direction of manager Two Bat. Signing the free agents of Al, Eddie Bauer, Fukudome, Pork Buoy, Vlade, Thor and Mrs. Thor.
	Brewers: Team will not return in 2021. Thunderson will be a free agent and hopefully to play 25-50% of the season..
	Mets: Cannonballers are back to being the Mets: Returning in 2021 under the direction of manager JC. They have signed Charwall, Taco and Mippey5.
	Chihuahuas: No news to report as of now.
	Crawdads: New team in Hopkins under the direction of manager Web Gem. Team has announced the signings of Baby Face, Smallpox and Griz.
	Mariners: Returning in 2021 under the direction of manager Coach. They have signed Squirrel, The Natural, Super Dave, Jon E Manziel, Mr. Mariner and O'Bannion.
	Millers: Will be returning in 2021 under the direction of Dr. K. Vlade has declared free agency. Looking for 1-2 free agents.
	Rubberducks: Returning in 2021 under the direction of manager Stache. Free Agency signings of Face, Jared Urbach, Sarge and Old Yeller.
	Twins: Returning in 2021 under the direction of manager K Mart. Al, Thor and Fukudome have declared Free Agency. Pearl has retired due to moving out of state. Team has annouced the signing of TT. Looking for 3 Free Agents, preferably that are willing to pitch.
	Baby Cakes: No news to report as of now.
	Bears: Returning in 2021 under the direction of manager Truck, and have added long time veteran free agent Bork.
	Braves: Moving to Hopkins for the 2021 season. Shirls has announced he is a free agent.
	Manatees: Kardinals have now become the Manatees. Kardinals retained: Tootin, Meesta, Boom, Groundskeeper Willie, Big Hoss and Cobra Kai. Free Agency signings of Nine, The Kid and Shirls
	Marlins: Returning for the 2021 season under the direction of manager Professor. Free agency signing of newbie Pat Suyak.
	Lugnuts: Will return for the 2021 season under the direction of manager Hoover. Free agent signings of Quicksand and Goddess.
	Pirates: Pork Buoy has left for the Blue Sox.
	Roughriders: No news to report as of now.
	Rumble Ponies: Returning to Eagan in 2021 under the direction of manager B Squared. Dix has been dropped with no intention of playing elsewhere in 2021. Free agency signing of newbie Jake Woessner.
	Vibes: Free agency signing of Huck Finn.
	Yankees: Returning as-is in 2021.
