Legend Lineup by Psych & Hov

I love sports and I love competition. When I was 18 I joined the HRL. But this wasn’t my first experience in wiffleball. Growing up, I played in the backyard just like every other kid. I wanted to hit bombs and make crazy home run robs. I built a mesh fence with my dad and decided to have 7 of my closest buddies out for a summer league. At the end of the year, my mom showed me the computer screen and it had a link to a wiffleball tournament called ‘The Big Whiff’

Little did I know that tournament would be the beginning of a crazy ride playing this game. The HRL has given me a chance to be myself and focus on a goal outside of the ordinary day to day. It’s allowed me to get to know others in ways that have nothing to do with wiffleball. Now, my girlfriend even likes coming to games and taking the book for the Aces. She already has said Valley is her favorite field, and the Grasshoppers are her 2nd (favorite team). In the words of the Godfather himself, this league provides something for everyone. Everyone can get out of it whatever they choose.” 

Austin HOV Hovis has been a best friend of mine since we were in first grade. It was a no-brainer when I asked him to be a member of the Dodgers in 2019, and we won a championship together in year 1. Four years later and we are playing in the World Series on the opposite teams and producing legendary moments. It was a very surreal full circle moment for me during that series that I’ll never forget. Now it is our great pleasure to bring to all of you the Legend Lineup Podcast week. We interviewed seven of the legends this league has seen roam the rinks. Some deep insight and unbelievable stories are brought back to life for everyone to experience. It was a pure joy to give these Legends a chance to tell their story however they saw fit.

3. I did in fact produce all of the PSYCH & HOV podcasts, with both of us doing a lot to make sure we did this thing right for the league.
4. I haven’t had cable in a year… so I haven't watched or kept up with MN sports in a long time. I apologize especially to the Twins fans out there, I feel as though I let you all down. I wish I could include myself in on the sports banter, but I have no ammo and no clue.
5. 2023 may go down as the greatest season in HRL history. With 2024 possibly overtaking.
