Pitching/Defense:
One of the first HRLers to throw a knuckle consistently, Matt relies on tricky butterflies and benders when he's on the mound. His ERA and K-rate have been respectable while anchoring the Cubs rotation the past few years, but support runs have unfortunately been few and far between.
Batting/Baserunning
Thanks to the Cubbies record, some may not be aware of how solid Fedawg is at the plate. More walks than strikeouts is usually a telling stat. This guy's patience pays off with annual high averages and home run totals in the box scores.
2007 Outlook:
Fedawg is the probably the best batter in the D-backs lineup, and the team will want him to get as many at bats as possible. He should be a good table setter at the top of the order, with Cota's grunts not looming far behind.
