Pitching/Defense:
Doc's patented hook has won the left hander back-to-back Cy Wiffler trophies the last two seasons. What's one sign of great pitcher? You know exactly what's coming, and you still can't touch it.
Batting/Baserunning:
Doc does most everything well at the plate. Strong to all fields, willing to work the count, great contact, and a ton of hustle once he puts the ball in play. He's one very tough out.
2007 Outlook:
The Tigs sound like they're doing a smorgasbord style rotation this year. If so, Doc's number totals may not be where they have in the past, but he'll still dominate when his team gives him the rock. He's a key piece to the organization on both sides of the ball, and will be integral in helping the squad break past the first round of the playoffs.
