Pitching/Defense:
Paul finally found the zone in 2006 and the rest of his numbers fell into place accordingly. His side-arm ri-slider and off-speed curveball both break a couple feet, making it tough for hitters to make solid contact as pitches cross over the plate
Batting/Baserunning
Improving on his 2006 injury laden season was inevitable, but Hendi still has not been able to regain his powerful swing from his rookie campaign. His patience has improved, and he’s still capable of belting out HRs, he just needs to do it more consistently
2007 Outlook:
Hendi staked his claim to the Crew’s #1 slot in the rotation, and will look to build on what he did well last year. At the dish, a little confidence may go a long way, so how he starts in April and May may be indicative of the rest of his season.
