Pitching/Defense:
Vito typically doesn't pitch or field unless the game is already well in hand, or he's playing in Iowa. When the Twins aren't batting, he's content cheering his amigos on, and enjoying the finer things in life….like Fat Cat brew.
Batting/Baserunning
Nelson bounced back nicely after a career low 2005 season. He's a .300 hitter that can spray the ball to all fields, and occasionally send one deep. Pitchers can get burned quickly if they underestimate this guy.
2007 Outlook:
It's pretty much a given that Nelson will continue to hit for a high average and push for fun-star and Alki accolades yet again in 2007.
