Pitching/Defense:
Scarecrow throws both a ¾ arm cutter and riser. His riser floats a little more than others in the league, often starting waist high only to sail up over the zone. He typically locates better with his cutter, which sometimes has quite a bit of lateral movement. Neither pitch is thrown extremely hard, so opponents tend to be able to get their timing down as the game progresses.
Batting/Baserunning
A solid contact hitter, Crow does a decent job getting on base. He's not typically a threat to go yard, but his power numbers did take an upturn at the end of last season.
2007 Outlook:
The movement on Crow's pitches is promising, but he's had a rough go from the mound thus far in the HRL. If he can vary the speed on his offerings a little more, he may have better success keeping hitters off-balance, and develop into a quality starter for the club.
