Pitching/Defense:
A plus riser coupled with a string-pulling change helped Edgar put together a great return season in the HRL. He’s smart in his approach, and has the poise to keep hitters off-balance and hold on to the Braves’ regular leads
Batting/Baserunning
The club got what they expected from the 2004 Twin at the plate last season. Smacking over .300, walking nearly as much as he struck out, and cruising around the bases, Jim is a run scoring machine.
2007 Outlook:
Edgar’s a five tool player that isn’t going to hit a wall anytime soon. In fact, improving offensively, after seeing what the new pitchers in the league have to offer, isn’t much of a stretch for 2007.
