FINAL

Game 2
World Series - Game 2
Reds 1, Red Sox 0
Tugboat nearly escaped a critical jam, but was ubale to escape the wrath of the ever dangerous Spoon, whose wall ball single to right plated Dr. Seuss with the winning run in the bottom of the 6th to give the Reds another 1-0 win and a gigantic 2-0 series edge.

Seuss led off the bottom of the 6th in a scoreless game with a hot grounder up the middle that Lil' Randall dove to try and snag, but was unable to field it in time.  Alertly, Seuss never broke stride, hustling to second and straight to third as Randall's Sox teammates screamed for him to throw the ball in as he was still lying outstretched in deep center.  With the winning run on third and nobody out, Tuggy buckled down to get the next two batters out, but Spoon came up clutch (as he's known to do) with a looping wall ball walkoff single off the short porch in right.

Martini was once again the hitting stud for the Sox, collecting 2 of the teams 3 hits they managed off Palpatine, who fanned 13 in the shutout.  Tugboat went 5 2/3 innings, allowing 3 hits himself, striking out nine.
