FINAL

  (4)
Game 2
Brewers 10, Yankees 7
(4 inn, darkness)
Brew Crew rebounds with the long ball
It was a reversal of fortune for the Brew Crew, who bounced back from a tough loss to pound the Yanks by a 10-7 score. The game was mutually called after 4 innings due to darkness. The Brewers benefitted from 5 home runs, 2 each from Jim West and Paul Henderson, and one from the winning pitcher, Joe Lawrence. Lawrence quieted the Yankee bats through three innings, leading 10-3 going into the fourth, when David Gustafson and Andy Beranek each hit 2-run homers to cut the deficit to 10-7. The rally fell short, however, giving the Brewers a doubleheader split.
