FINAL

Game 1
Twins 4, Expos 3
The blue light special hits the ballpark
A 2-out hit by Jon Herdegen drove in what proved to be the winning run in the bottom of the 5th, and the pitching of Andy "K-Mart" Gillund was enough to outlast the Expos by a 4-3 score. K-Mart (1-0) had six K's to go along with 5 walks to pick up the win,  while Jim Renneberg drove in three of the Twins runs, two coming on a third inning homer to lead a 10-hit attack.  Mitch Goecke (0-1) pitched well for the Expos, striking out four and walking four, but never allowing the big inning. Jamie Nowaczewski paced the Expos with a 3-hit game.
