FINAL

Game 2
Twins 9, Expos 3
Twins offensive attack strikes early, often
It was 9-1 after the top of the 4th, and the Twins coasted to an easy 9-3 win to sweep the doubleheader over the Expos and keep their record perfect at 3-0. The Twins pounded out another 12 hits. K-Mart had his first homer of the season, while Renneberg had a huge game, going 5 for 7 with three more RBI.  Nick Nelson (1-0) pitched a good game, and also contributed with a 4-hit game of his own. The Expos were the beneficiary of 9 Nelson walks, but could only push across one in the 2nd inning and a pair in the 4th, while collecting only 3 hits. Pat Reckinger (0-1) picked up the loss for the winless Expos.
