Polseno's 3 HR, 6 RBI ignite rout
Tom Polseno led a savage Braves offensive attack with 3 round trippers (HRLTC's first 3-homer game by ANY player) and 6 RBI en route to an easy 12-2 mercy rule win over the Phils. Sean "Rocket" Pabon also had a pair of homers for the Tribe, capping a bad afternoon on the hill for the Phils' Kelly Pieklo (0-1), who surrendered 10 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks over 3 2/3 innings of work. John "Nine" Tillander had a remarkable game for the Phils, walking in all eight plate appearances, but scoring only once in their 2-run 4th inning. Nick Consoer (1-0) picked up the win for the Braves, despite allowing 9 walks, but only three hits.
