Braves complete twin bill sweep, move to 3-1
The Braves offensive express finished off a big day at the plate, with Polseno adding 2 more HR's (5 for the year), and Rocket adding another (3), en route to a 7-3 win. John Tillander (0-2) had another rough go on the hill, surrendering the aforementioned taters to go along with eight walks. The Rocket (1-1) pitched a great game, his only mistake coming on a three-run homer by Bryan Shirley, but those would be the only runs he would allow. Rocket fanned six and scattered 5 hits. Peeks had a nice three hit game for the Phils.
