FINAL

Game 2
A's 5, Braves 2
Mathis-Storey connection carries A's to sweep
Mathis and Storey brought the bats, and Greg Lund brought the pitching, leading a total team effort in a 5-2 win, capping an unlikely sweep of the powerful Braves.  Lund (2-1) again threw nothing but strikes, allowing 9 hits, but never allowing the big inning. Lund K'd 5 batters, and still has not allowed a walk this season. The Braves offense struck in the second, when three straight hits resulted in a 2-run single by The Rocket. Polseno had a big 5-for-6 hitting game, but couldn't get around to score but one time. Pablo fanned three times for the Braves.  Nick Consoer (1-1) took the loss, allowing four hits in a four run second inning that ultimately did him in. Mathis had a 4-hit game with a homer and 3 RBI, while Storey contributed with a three-hit game.
