Truck whiffs 13 more to maul Twins
Despite losing a no-hitter when K-Mart homered to lead off the fifth, Truck (4-0) was his usual self on the hill, dominating the Twins for a 5-1 Royals win. Truck scattered 3 hits and walked just one while fanning 13. The Twins got a solid effort from Jim Renneberg (1-1), who allowed six hits, walked a pair and struck one out. Mike Patterson hit a solo homer (5) in the top of the sixth for some insurance. The loss was the first for the Twins on the field.
