FINAL

Game 2
Royals 11, Twins 10 (8 inn)
The Rick plays savior for the Royals again
Rick Eddy came up huge for the Royals once again, pitching great in relief and belting a solo homer down the left field line with one out in the last of the 8th to give the Royals a walkoff 11-10 win and a sweep of the Twins. "The Rick" (2-0) came on out of the 'pen after Patterson struggled in his three innings of work and pitched 5 innings in all to pick up the win. Patterson was tagged for eight runs on eight hits, including a grand slam by Renneberg.  The Royals put up a 6-spot in the bottom of the third to go up 9-8, the key hit being a Patterson grand slam that had all in attendance oohing and ahhing, as it traveled an estimated 190 feet over the left field wall.  It was the first of a two-homer night for Patterson, who now leads the HRL in homers with 7.  K-Mart (1-1) gutted it out on the hill for the Twins, going all 7-plus innings in the loss. K-Mart only allowed six hits, but walked ten, as some of those proved costly
