Braves 3, Brewers 1
5th innings rally helps Braves nip the Brew
The much hyped bats of the Braves and Hendi were relatively quite in this one, and the game went scoreless through three and a half. In the bottom of the 4th, Lawrence led off with a line shot to left center, barely escaping the fully extended glove of Polseno. He later scored to break the 0-0 tie. The Brewers lead was short lived however, and Henderson's (1-3) strong start went for naught, as the Braves pulled ahead in the 5th. After a walk and a Polseno (4 for 6) fence shot, runners were at the corners for Rocket's sac fly to tie things up. Then, with Tom standing on second, Travaille smoked one into center field, driving in the eventual game winner. The Braves added an insurance run in the 6th and Rocket (2-2) held on nicely, earning the win by allowing only 1 run on 5 hits while fanning 5
