FINAL

Game 2
Brewers 4, Braves 2
Joe at 5-0, Hendi goes yard to get the split
The Brewers were first on the board again in the second game.  This time they bumbled & stumbled their way, as West came home all the way from first base on a tapper back to mound (see message board for description).  Besides that fluke run, Lawrence (5-0) and Consoer (2-2) dueled back and forth for four innings, inducing easy pop-ups and ground balls, mixed in with an occasional K.  In the top of the 5th, Henderson's bat finally brushed aside the residual hangover, and he cracked his 7th home run of the season to give the Crew a 2-0 lead.  Rocket answered right back in the bottom half of the inning, with a deep solo shot of his own (4) to keep the Braves within striking distance. But Paulsy gave the Brewers some additional breathing room with another 2 RBI (24) base hit in the 6th, and with a 4-1 lead, the ball was handed to West to shut to door. After a leadoff walk came around to score and cut to lead to 2, Jim buckled down to get the save (4) and keep the Brewers one game ahead of the Braves in the NL standings.
