FINAL

Game 2
Expos 4, Yankees 0
The X finally notches a W!
In a performance that makes one ask "why didn't they play like this before?!?", the Expos finally got off the schnide and won their first game, a 4-0 blanking of the Yankees. Jamie Nowaczewski (1-1) pitched brilliantly, allowing just a second inning single to Willie, and striking out 9 and walking four for the win. Matt Nowaczewski did his part as well, going yard twice and driving in three.  Gus (0-1) pitched decently, but got no run support in the loss. Gus let up seven hits and walked just one while striking out three.  After the game, all in attendance (including those playing the Braves-Twins game) stopped to give the beleaguered X a well-earned round of applause.
