FINAL

Game 2
Twins 9, Braves 6
Twins end skid despite the Dumbass
Despite Dumbass Nelson falling asleep while taking a walking lead off first base and subsequently getting picked off, the Twins did just enough RIGHT to get an 8-6 win, ending their 6-game skid.  The Twins got 5 runs in the last of the 4th to turn a 5-3 deficit into an 8-5 lead, thanks to four consecutive walks and a couple of base hits allowed by Nick "Sanchez" Consoer (2-3). Nick walked 7 and fanned 5.  The Twins got an impressive straight-away center homer from Edgar in the last of the first inning.  Jon Herdegen (1-0) made his pitching debut for the Twins and picked up the win, allowing eight hits and six runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Rocket hit HRLTC's first inside-the-park homer, hitting a towering blast to deep center that arrived at the wall about 110 feet away at the same moment as Nelson.  Nelson, ranging over from right field, crashed into the wall, the ball deflecting off and rolling back toward the infield. Rocket kept going, and the throw to get him at home missed.  Matt Travaille hit his second homer of the night for the Braves as well, en route to taking over the league lead in the batting department.
