Royals 3, Braves 1
Truck wins 6th; Royals take over 1st
Even a gimpy leg couldn't stop Truck from taking the mound, as he hit a 2-run blast and fanned 13 to help give the Royals a sweep of the Braves with a 3-1 win. Truck (6-0) allowed two hits, one of them a sixth inning solo homer by Matt "Chops" Travaille to cut the deficit to 3-1. Truck walked a pair as well. Chops (0-1) made his pitching debut by necessity, with the Braves sporting an automatic fielder for the night (Thank you Westy!), he was the only player available to pitch, and did well. The southpaw scattered four hits, struck out three and walked three.
