FINAL

Game 2
Royals 5, Brewers 3
Royals chip away, hang on for win
With The Rick out indefinitely with elbow trouble, Mikey was thrust back into the role of #2 starter, helping pitch the Royals to a 5-3 win. Mikey (2-3) allowed a single and a homer to Joe to start the game off, but was effective after that, allowing three runs in all on five hits, fanning six and walking just one.  Again, Mikey and Truck homered to help give the Royals a lead they would not relinquish.  Jim West (0-3), usually the Crew's closer, made a spot start in the struggling Joe's stead and took the loss, giving up six hits, striking out four and walking one. Hendi belted his league-leading 17th HR in this one.
