FINAL

  (4)
Game 3
Brewers 9, Royals 7 (4 inn, darkness)
Truck takes loss on huge Westy HR
A hastily played game resulted in the Royals blowing a 7-0 first inning lead, as Jim West's 2-run homer off Truck led to a 9-7 win for the Brewers, in a darkness-shortened 4 inning game.  Andy Lange made the start for the Royals and was staked to an early 7-0 lead, thanks to Truck's first inning grand slam. Langer struggled with his control, walking five in two innings and allowing four runs in the first, and three more in the third on Hendi's 3-run HR without recording an out.  Truck (8-1) relieved Langer with nobody out in the last of the 3rd in a 7-7 game. After fanning the first 2 batters, Hendi blooped a single into center and Westy followed with a line drive, opposite field HR down the right field line for the 9-7 lead. Joe pitched a scoreless fourth to pick up his first save, preserving a surprise win for Hendi (3-7).
