FINAL

Game 2
Yankees 10, Twins 3
Teams continue to go in opposite directions
The Yanks won their sixth straight with a convincing 10-3 win and a sweep over the Twins.  Luis Cota (7-3) was impressive as usual, striking out 12 Twins for the win. Cota scattered four hits (the biggie a 2-run HR by Edgar in the 4th) and walked three.  A 7-run bottom of the 4th inning by the Yanks blew the game wide open.  The Yanks got 3 HR's from Cota, 2 from Gus, and one from Willie. Jon (3-2) was far from his perfect-game form, surrendering the six HR's, 7 hits in all, and walked five with five K's.
