Royals end skid with 10 hits...
The Royals halted their 8-game skid with a complete all-around game, pounding out 10 hits and getting solid pitching to earn a 5-0 blanking of the X. Truck (9-3) pitched a great ballgame, scattering 4 hits with 10 strikeouts and no walks. The offense finally picked up the pace, with Truck going 5-for-8 with a homer and all 5 RBI, while Old Man Dave had a monster 4-hit game for the Royals. Christian (4-2) pitched great until the 4th when the Royals finally solved him, giving up 2 in the 4th inning and 3 in the fifth.
