FINAL

Game 1
Brewers 7, Twins 3
Crew shows signs of life in big win
The Brew Crew magic that dominated the league in its opening weeks came back with a vengeance for this game, as the Crew jumped out to an early 6-0 lead and never looked back for a 7-3 win over the Twinks. Joe (9-5) pitched a mean game, and besides K-Mart making Joe his bitch (2 solo HR's), he pitched well, scattering six hits, fanning six and walking two.  The Brewer bats were loud and proud, capitalizing on many walks from Edgar.  Hendi flexed the power muscle with a 3-run homer in the second inning, and Costa Rica provided some late insurance with a sixth inning solo blast of his own, and scored four times in all  Edgar (5-7) struggled early on, down 6-0 after 2 innings.  Edgar allowed five hits in all, but walked four while striking out three.
