K-Mart puts clamps on Brew sweep
Whether it was the tunes or not, K-Mart pitched another great game, helping the Twins to preserve a split with the Brewers by blanking them, 2-0. "2 Legit 2 Quit", "Hangin' Tough", "U Can't Touch This", and other homo-hits from the 80's and 90's blared from Edgar's truck, undoubtedly spurring the Twins on to victory. K-Mart (4-3), fresh off last week's shutout of the Royals, pitched a gem, holding the Crew to just 3 hits, fanning five and walking two. Hendi (3-11) again lost a tough one (how many times have we said it?!?), allowing only 2 runs to the potent Twins' lineup, scattering five hits, six K's and 3 BB. Nelson had three hits and drove in both of the Twins runs.
