Expos 9, A's 1
J-Ski leads the way
The X took a three run lead in the first and never looked back as they went on to beat the A's 9-1, ending their three game skid. Jamie "J-Ski" Nowaczewski (7-3) pitched a great game allowing only one run off five hits, while striking out four and walking one, before giving way to Matt "M-Ski" Nowaczewski who pitched a perfect sixth inning to pick up his first save of the year. J-Ski and Christian each hit three home runs and went a combined 10-20 at the plate as The Pirate (8-5) took the loss, giving up nine runs off eleven hits. The Pirate was the lone contributor for the A's offense as he provided their their only run with a solo shot in the first inning.
